David Bowie fan ponies up to find statue vandal

DAVID BOWIE:  Fan offers money if vandal turns himself in

The man who vandalized the much-derided David Bowie statue in Aylesbury, England earlier this week hasn't been caught, despite a clear image of him captured by security cameras. So a Bowie fan has ponied up some money for him to come forward.

Wrongly thinking the statue was funded by taxpayers, the vandal spray-painted "feed the homeless first" on the pavement in front of it. That prompted Alex Laurent to come forward with a promise to donate $7000 to a homeless charity if the vandal turns himself in.

The paint has since been removed with the help of volunteers.
